Afterwards we drove back to the hostel to check out and did the Ajai, Alai meditation outside the hostel in the morning sun. We enquired there about teaching yoga, as we did not have the certificates on us they would not accept any liability. I am sure we will work something out.
We then drove to the marine centre but I took a wrong turning and we ended up on an amazing beach called Rodeo beach, we got there at 11am and it was so very quiet, just a few guys surfing.
At the beach we did the costal and lagoon trails we just could not believe how quiet this place is. I am sure tourists do not know about the beach! The walks are fantastic and worth doing, please do pack water!
Afterwards, we headed downtown to a restaurant called Herbivore

This restaurant is fantastic! I ordered cheese steak sandwich, Sangeet ordered vegetable tofu scrambled and kid!?!? Sized macaroni, the portion was huge so I presumed they have big massive kids! We also ordered rhubarb pie with coconut chocolate ice cream.
As it was Daya Singh’s birthday (my very good friend’s son) we headed to a card shop, where we found some VERY interesting cards.
At around 4pm we headed to see our very good friend Gurrinder (we met Gurrinder at the Jaap Sahib course in Espanola, 2007) we hit rush hour traffic so a one hour journey took one and three quarter hours!
Drove up to the gated community and called Gurrinder for the gate code….drove up to the drive where it was fantastic to see him. We gave each other a huge (manly) hug 🙂
As it was Daya’s birthday we gave him the present and he was very happy – we hope! It was good to meet the family, phenji’s father is also into IT, so we had a good geeky conversation!
After great food which consisted of pizza and salad, Daya Singh cut the cake.
What a fantastic night.
