Lunch at HanGawi…..
For lunch we ate at a vegan restaurant called HanGawi, this is a very pricey restaurant but we definitely recommend trying the tofu with broccoli in spicy garlic sauce.
New York, New York…..
Finally landed and checked into the hotel, luckily I used my points for a free night. This hotel is not worth the $280 per night price tag.

A looooong wait at Chicago…..!
Well 4.5 hours later we are still waiting at Chicago airport, first we were waiting for the captain. Then they tested the brakes on the aircraft!! After many gate changes we are finally at the final gate!!
Managed to take off at 10pm when it should have been 5:25pm!!!!
Sangeet read an advert from American Airlines: “60% of of flights are on time” I mean is this something they should be advertising!!!!
ACDC…..!!
There is a guy on this flight to Chicago listening to ACDC!! Wow that brings back memories, will have to download some of their music.
Mad dash to the airport…..
As always, we have many goodbyes to say before we leave so it was a mad dash to Albuquerque airport. Also we needed gas for the rental (or so I thought!). So with 50 minutes before departure we looked for a gas station. The gas station only took account cards, by now I was a bit concerned as to missing the flight to New York! Okay a bit of a understatement I was very concerned, I drove off looked in the side mirror and thought !?€<>#><€]* what is that!!! Then realised it was the pump handle!! – we went back to return the pump.
We arrived at Hertz only to find the fuel was given for free!!
So that is the story of checking in 45 minutes before the flight leaves!!
Ram Das Puri…..
We headed back to Espanola around 7pm. Decided to grab a very good friend of ours Deva Singh and head up to Ram
Das Puri to see the stars. Unfortunately it was a cloudy night but after a while the clouds started to disperse. Deva has helped me so much whilst I have been on the course. As well a Sangeet, Deva has been the person I could turn to when I had any issues or just needed to talk.
